The "Masters" getting ready for action at the tunnel
This afternoon saw me inside the Singapore Indoor Stadium for the IG Masters 6s Singapore Cup.

This event was back in town for the second time running after the first was held last year at the same venue.

It featured the likes of Robbie Fowler, Mark Wright, Paul Parker, Patrik Berger with many others who used to ply their livelihood in the English Premier League (EPL) and not forgetting our own heroes like Nazri Nasir, Dalis Supait, Lim Tong Hai, Bashir Khan plus the still active Aleksandar Duric turning together for the Singapore Masters team.

Meanwhile those former EPL stars were represented in the forms of "Liverpool Masters", "Man Utd Masters"(based on their past affiliation with the two clubs) and "EPL All Stars Master".

The event was split into three segments with some kids' football actions followed by some fans kickabout before the main event took place at 2.30pm.

The photo shoot proved to be another big challenge for me again when the lightning conditions were not up to the expectations.

Was told as compared to the last year's event, the conditions this afternoon were much dimmer that had to be compromised by the boasting the ISO settings at a lower shutter speed that resulted some grainy shots in the end.

Nonetheless, it was nice to see some EPL sides fans turning up in numbers to see those players they idolized up close and personal.

"Liverpool Masters" - the winner of 2013 IG Masters' 6s
For the record, the tournament was won by the "Liverpool Masters" who beat the "EPL All Stars Master" 7-4 in the final, the "Singapore Masters" claimed three and fourth placing went to the "Man Utd Masters", former Nottingham Forest star Pierre van Hooijdonk was the tournament's leading goal scorer who made goal scoring looked easy.
