The Football Association of Singapore released a media release in regards to the incident that took place on the 6th June 2013 at Queenstown Stadium after the League Cup between Courts Young Lions and Tanjong Pagar United, which was reported on various media outlets, as detailed below:
Investigation of the Incident after the League Cup match between Courts Young Lions and Tanjong Pager United on 6 June
SINGAPORE, 18th July 2013: The investigation of the incident after the League Cup match between Courts Young Lions and Tanjong Pager United on 6 June has concluded today following a Disciplinary Committee (DC) hearing. The DC found Tanjong Pagar United FC (TPUFC) player K Vikraman not guilty of his charge of allegedly throwing a water bottle and a punch at Mr Farhan, father of Courts Young Lions player Fareez Farhan.
Prior to the DC , both Zahid Ahmad, one of two TPUFC players involved in the confrontation, and Mr Farhan were issued a stern warning by the FAS for their behavior in the confrontation.
Mr Farhan was further informed that a recurrence of such behaviour would result in a ban from all future S.League and FAS matches.
